General Warranty Conditions

• The warranty of the generator is valid for twelve (12) calendar months with no limit on the hours of operation, from when it is started up. In cases in which the hours of operation do not exceed five hundred (500) hours during the first year, the generator warranty shall be extended for an additional twelve (12) calendar months or up to a maximum of one thousand (1000) hours of operation, whichever occurs first. Start-up must be communicated to DAGAR TECHNOLOGIES, S.L., (hereinafter the manufacturer) in writing or via email. Said communication must include the following details: Model, Serial Number and Invoice Number.
• The customer shall inform the manufacturer of the equipment start-up within a maximum period of 60 days from the invoice If no communication is received, the effective commencement of the warranty period will be understood as the invoice date of the equipment. In the event that the start-up could not be carried out within 60 days after the invoice date, the manufacturer must be informed in writing, pending the start of said warranty upon acceptance by the engine and alternator suppliers. In no case, the warranty start date may be 120 days later than the invoice date and, always, said extension will be subject to approval by the manufacturer, who will notify said acceptance in writing to customers.
• The warranty shall ONLY cover component and assembly defects, and shall NEVER cover defects due to improper use, handling, modification or poor maintenance.
• The warranty does NOT cover damage or breakdown caused by the connection of the engine- generator set with other devices not installed or supplied by the Faults and damage caused by prolonged or incorrect storage are also excluded. In the latter case, the manufacturer’s user manuals should be reviewed.
• The generator warranty shall ONLY cover the materials and labour required for personnel authorised by the manufacturer to repair the Travel, mileage and other expenses derived from a warranty repair are excluded from the warranty coverage. Hence, in no case will the manufacturer be responsible for them, and such costs must be borne by the customer.
• Acceptance or refusal of a warranty will depend on the decision of the manufacturer. In the event of engine and alternator breakdowns, the warranty will be granted by the supplier of said component according to its warranty conditions. The manufacturer reserves the possibility of demanding recovery of the damaged In this case, all expenses arising from said repair will be borne by the customer until the warranty expires. In case of acceptance of the warranty, the transportation costs generated by said return will be paid up to a maximum of the cost of shipping the material in advance to the customer.
• Repairs carried out during the warranty period will not entail any extension of said period of warranty for the generator.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by terrorist acts, natural disasters, sabotage or acts of a similar nature.
• If any of these notifications do not comply with the legislation of a certain country, the importer is obliged to notify the manufacturer.
• This warranty expressly replaces any other warranty, tacit or implicit, including any commercial warranty or warranty for a particular use.
