Farming and Livestock

The farming and livestock sector is another field of application that presents several unique needs. Hence, Dagartech has designed an exclusive range of generators for use in farming and livestock applications.

In general, the energy needs in the farming sector are concentrated around the following tasks or activities:

• Start-up of irrigation systems (electric pumps for irrigation) in large areas of land without direct access to the electricity grid.
• Use of tools that require supply of electrical energy.
• Obtaining electric power from the tractor, as the only accessible energy source.
• Emergency use of electric generators in case of failures in the supply network (ranches and livestock farms, mainly).

Thus, the needs that arise in this sector are diverse and so are the electric generators and the services they offer.

Although it is always recommended to study each project in depth before selecting a generator set, in general, the energy needs that arise in the farming and livestock sector are usually covered by the electric generators shown below:

Their compact and lightweight design makes these electric generators suitable for use in the farming sector. 

• They are offered in a single-phase and three-phase version, with powers ranging between 6.5 and 10.3 kVA (PRP).
• With an original fuel tank from the manufacturer, an integrated tank can be included on the worktop (optional)*.
• There is the option to include start and stop by button and start and stop by timer (optional).

Their design, also compact and lightweight, is ideal for use in the farming sector, when power demands are higher. 

• They are available in a single-phase and three-phase version, with powers ranging between 10.5 and 40.3 kVA (PRP).
• They have an original fuel tank from the manufacturer, between 30 and 160-litre capacity (depending on the model).
• There is the option to include start and stop by button and start and stop by timer (optional).

The tractor ranges (PTO) are an ideal alternative for obtaining electric power when you have the engine of a tractor or similar equipment. By connecting this auxiliary generator (alternator) to the tractor's power socket, a power supply will be available in a simple and economic manner.

• It has two outputs of 400 (S1) and 230V (S2), offering power outputs between 16 and 45kVA and 6.4 and 18kVA respectively.
• References are offered for operation at 1,500 and 3,000 rpm.
• Equipped with a complete control panel, multiplier kit with overload protection and a worktop for three-point fixing.

When energy needs go further, and especially, for continuous use, generators with a more robust design and, above all, with much higher autonomy are recommended.

• They come in power outputs between 18 and 60 kVA.
• They have fuel tanks between 84 and 240-litre capacity (depending on the model).
• There is the option to include start and stop by button and start and stop by timer (optional).
