Dagartech generator sets bring energy to the AVE High-Speed rail
Dagartech has had the opportunity to participate in the Vitoria-Bilbao-San Sebastián AVE construction project, powering the tunnelling machine with which the Gaintxurizketa tunnel will be extended through País Vasco and will reach the French border.
It has been a demanding project which presented some essential requirements, such as the fact that the generators were needed to work under the influence of severe weather conditions, long service periods with optimum performance, outstanding reliability, low maintenance, and optimum safety conditions.
The Dagartech generators intended for public works, roads and infrastructures are designed to meet the needs of continuous electricity supply associated with this kind of activities, presenting a robust design and high-quality components that respond to all these requirements and guarantee numerous cycles of work without operating tasks.

The Dagartech engineering team designed 2 rental generator sets addressed to meet the specific needs of this project. In short: 2 x 400 kVA DGVR 400 ST gensets have been installed in synchronism and they are equipped with the latest technology and the EU IIIA emission certification.
